![]() "No change" concerning about SendMessage?Yes, I was strictly referring to SendMessage.Īs for versioning, I was just thinking of the BASS wrappers' versions. ![]() Cannot run both Miranda and the browser at the same time due to scarce resources (eMule takes up quite much lately ). I am not using IRC at all makes me dizzy with all that mixed talk and scrolling text (bad eyesight lately) :cry:Ģ. If you want to discuss more, please feel free to chat at AHK IRC using your miranda irc utf8 module Two minor issues:ġ. I know many of the Unicode functions are like that in Win9x so for safety I always specify the library to call a specific function from. ![]() If I don't specify unicows.dll when calling SendMessageW, the result will be an empty string that's because user32.dll already contains SendMessageW and it's probably being chosen automatically by the system, but its implementation is most likely buggy or incomplete. ![]() Shouldn't it have some sort of versioning within the file? 8)Īnyway, I now updated to latest BASS (both AHK wrappers and dlls, downloaded yesterday 23 from your site) and there's no change - the call to SendMessageW (both with the patched variable and unpatched) still produces questionmarks while the call to SendMessage (without user32.dll being specified, as per the instructions above), with the patched variable, produces the correct text. It seems you are using an old version of the library Well, the code is a snippet of the tag_reading_example.ahk that I found around (posted by you.?) Sure, it may be old - I never checked if it matches the current BASS libraries - but at the moment I'm still using an older version anyway (forgot to update). ![]()
